Uhhh can we just talk about this for a second?!?! Neil is asking Andrew to commit to their relationship, to join him in the future and follow him, to stay by his side and Andrew (who is probably so torn inside bc itβs everything heβs ever wanted and everything he always knew heβd never get) is trying to convince himself and Neil that itβs never gonna happen by saying the words βeverything endsβ and in the same breath tossing Neil a package with matching arm bands to help him hide his scars, where heβs already opened the packaging so Neil doesnβt have to struggle and hurt himself trying to open it.
Can you just imagine, Andrew buying the arm bands considering Neil the whole time. Then sitting in his car fingering the package and thinking about how Neil wonβt be able to open it so he slits it open for him. Then he gets a text from Neil and makes his way over to meet him, itβs not a good time to hand them over so he waits patiently while Neil and Kevin talk to Jean. Then theyβre standing in the hallway and Neil is there tugging on his sleeve and talking about their future and Andrew knows heβs too far gone now. So he tries to shut Neil down while giving him the arm bands knowing Neil will know how he really feels and walks away.
